Electrical conductivity at hoses can be achieved by means of copper wires incorporated (M-Hoses) or an appropriately conductive rubber quality (Ω-Hoses).
In the test standard DIN EN ISO 8031, the determination of the electrical resistance and the electrical conductivity is listed.
We distinguish the following cases:
Marking | Ω | Ω /T* | M | M/T* |
|
|
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Electrical conductivity measured according DIN EN 8031 (Resistance) | ≤ 10^6 Ω | ≤ 10^6 Ω | ≤ 10^2 Ω | ≤10^2 Ω | ≥ 10^3 Ω ≤ 10^8 Ω | > 10^8 Ω |
|
electrically conductive | electrically conductive | electrically connected | electrically connected | antistatic | insulating |
*) with a resistance through the hose wall of not more than 10^9 Ω.
