Electrical conductivity

Electrical conductivity at hoses can be achieved by means of copper wires incorporated (M-Hoses) or an appropriately conductive rubber quality (Ω-Hoses).

In the test standard DIN EN ISO 8031, the determination of the electrical resistance and the electrical conductivity is listed.

We distinguish the following cases:

Marking Ω /T* M M/T*

Electrical conductivity measured according DIN EN 8031 (Resistance) ≤ 10^6 Ω ≤ 10^6 Ω ≤ 10^2 Ω ≤10^2 Ω ≥ 10^3 Ω ≤ 10^8 Ω > 10^8 Ω

electrically conductive electrically conductive electrically connected electrically connected antistatic insulating

*) with a resistance through the hose wall of not more than 10^9 Ω.
